The new Padova jersey made in collaboration with REPLAY
Produced by Macron, a tribute to the city and its UNESCO heritage sites

After having unveiled the new two jerseys for the next Lega Pro season, this weekend Calcio Padova and Macron closed the circle by presenting the third jersey, which the team wore this Saturday, in the away match won by three goals to zero against Pro Patria at the Euganeo stadium. A jersey created in collaboration with REPLAY, the club's former sponsor, and produced by Macron, which is a tribute to the city of Veneto, recently proclaimed 'Unesco Heritage' for its 14th-century fresco cycles. Specifically, the third kit, blue in colour, features tone-on-tone graphics echoing the frescoes on the south wall of Palazzo della Ragione, one of the eight sites of Padua Urbs Picta. In addition to Palazzo della Ragione, the other sites included in the Unesco Heritage List are the Scrovegni Chapel, the Church of Saints Philip and James of the Eremitani, the Chapel of the Reggia Carrarese, the Baptistery of the Cathedral, the Basilica and Convent of the Saint, the Oratory of San Giorgio and the Oratory of San Michele.
Completing the jersey is the collar in the Korean style, while on the back is the inscription 'Padova Urbs Picta' to further underline the homage to the Painted City. This is not the first time that the Venetian club and the Italian brand have collaborated, already last year the third jersey with a design reminiscent of a medieval armour in anthracite grey had attracted the attention of the fans. A collaboration that also this year has produced a kit that is particularly refined in terms of design and image, and it could not be otherwise for a brand that takes its name from a football match of the 1978 World Cup. An agreement that testifies, once again, how much co-local collbos have influenced the world of fashion and are now flowing into the world of football, as we have seen with Tomeve's and Lecce or between Bologna and Macron.
