Manchester United also presented the away shirt Designed by adidas and inspired by the club's philosophy

A few weeks after the launch of the new home kit, where the collar has returned, adidas has finally unveiled Manchester United's away shirt, after rumours had been circulating all summer about the colour scheme that would be chosen. Even for the English club (after the choices for the kits of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, for example), adidas thought of an extremely simple jersey, designing it in a colour that had been missing for some time, white. A colour that is part of the Britons' tradition, even though it has not been very present in recent seasons. The other novelty is that the new kit is made with both long and short sleeves, unlike last season, and features a subtle helix pattern inserted tone on tone into the jersey fabric. While in the collar there is the same geometric pattern in red that picks up the letter M as in last year's third kit.

Inigo Turner, adidas Design Director, said: "Wherever the club goes, we wanted it to carry its philosophy with it, proudly woven into the fabric of the kit that players and fans can wear together."

Like the home kit, the away kit is available in authentic and replica versions. Both are made from 100 per cent recycled Primegreen materials, but have some minor differences in the technology used to make them.
