After Liverpool and Manchester City, it is Arsenal's turn, who with one day to go before the end of the championship, together with adidas, presented the new shirt for next season. The gunners will wear it already this weekend, in a very important match of the season that will determine their presence in the Champions League. As with the Real Madrid jersey, the collar will also return to Arsenal's shirt, a clear sign of the German technical sponsor's desire to bring back an element that in recent years had almost disappeared from the jerseys of English and other clubs. The new jersey does not differ much from the one used in the current season, the base is still red while the shoulders remain in white, unlike the previous one, however, on the collar and also in the socks lightning bolts have been added, another characteristic symbol of the London team, as it appears in the coat of arms of the Royal Arsenal Gatehouse and in the foundation of the club in Woolwich.

"We wanted the new Arsenal shirt to blend fan culture with a classic look.  It's important to create products that really speak to Arsenal fans, and with this design we were inspired by the old badges used throughout the club's history."

The last time Arsenal decided to adopt the collar was the 2000/01 season, when the technical sponsor was Nike and Wenger sat on the bench. That was a very special season for the gunners, who narrowly missed out on winning the championship, finishing the season in second place. The shirt with the collar represents a return to the origins, hoping that Arteta's team will be able to return to its former glory on the pitch and not only off it.
