Bayern Munich's new shirt for the 2022/23 season by adidas
White stripes are back for the Bavarians
May 5th, 2022
After securing their tenth league title with a few days to spare, today Bayern Munich and adidas also presented the new jersey that Muller and his teammates will use throughout the following season. No reference and no return to the past, adidas has focused on a new elegant and clean design where the white stripes return as in the 2017/18 season but this time horizontally starting from the chest to the end of the shirt. The kit will then be completed by all-red socks and shorts. Although the jersey will be used next season it will make its debut already on Sunday, on the last day of the championship when the defending champions will face Stuttgart.
The novelties don't end here, because on Sunday the players will not only wear the new jersey, but for the first time in history the Serienmeister will be affixed, a special badge reserved for the team able to win ten consecutive championships. A record that few teams have managed to achieve, in Italy the only one to come close was Juventus, who, however, stopped at nine.
