This weekend, Alessandria unveiled a special new shirt designed by adidas to mark the club's 110th anniversary. The shirt, which will make its debut tomorrow in the midweek match against Perugia, features some important new features such as the Venezia-style "Alessandria" lettering and the city's coat of arms embroidered on the chest, as it was in the 1930s and in the uniform of the last year of the A league in 1957/58. These are signs of connection and belonging to history and tradition, which should be emphasised in such an important occasion as the 110th birthday. The other novelty is that the jersey will be completely green, a choice of colour that is not accidental and that has references in the recent history of the club but also reflects the spirit and philosophy of the work, linked to sustainability and respect for the environment and the same mission of the technical sponsor adidas and the three main sponsors (Y3K, Amag and Relife) companies committed to green policies in the field of mobility, energy and waste recycling.

The 110th anniversary celebrations don't stop there, in addition to the green jersey, in last week's match against Lecce only for the warm-up the greys wore a self-produced vintage jersey. The jersey with its V-neckline, large collar and central band similar to that of Sampdoria is a perfect reproduction of the first jersey in history worn by the club.
