Nike still has a supply chain problems
US giant is delaying releases and shipments, but also adidas and Puma are having the same problems
January 27th, 2022
Problems continue for Nike's supply chain, which has been forced to cancel several orders due to production problems linked in large part to the impact of the pandemic on the brand's entire production chain and the release of new jerseys and boots. Some time ago, Nike merely commented on the news, assuring that "production will resume as soon as possible". But in addition to the delays justified by the current health situation, as also reported by FootyHeadlines, the American giant's biggest problem concerns the boots in particular the iconic Tiempo. Of the Recharge pack released in November, it is still not possible to buy the new colours on the website, due to production and delivery problems, says the site. But Nike has also been forced to postpone the launch of Chelsea and Liverpool's pre-match jerseys, and also PSG's highly anticipated fourth kit, which was always released in November.
But supply chain problems do not only affect Nike, adidas and PUMA have also experienced more or less the same problems. The two German brands have had to delay production due to the current situation, even postponing releases in many cases. PUMA has experienced a similar situation with the Flare Pack, released only a few days and expected practically for months. At home adidas instead the situation is perhaps worse, the three stripes have failed to send the new collection from training to Arsenal women, leaving them still with the past items.
