The innovative system is able to generate a 3D rendering indistinguishable from reality in a matter of seconds. The video feed is fed into Canon's Free Viewpoint System that can create 3D models of the ten players on the court and their movements at times and qualities never seen before. This allows fans to sit courtside and enjoy the game using every possible viewpoint, creating a new spectator experience. The Nets are the first to have equipped their stadium with 360-degree VR technology, proving to be one of the most modern franchises in the entire league. With the growing attention the sports world is turning to the Metaverse we will see who will be the next team to follow the example of the Brooklyn Nets.
