Roberto Cavalli is Monza's new fashion partner
A collaboration that confirms how brands are once again getting closer to the world of football
November 9th, 2021
A few days ago, Monza, the club owned by the Berlusconi-Galliani duo, announced a new partnership with Roberto Cavalli, who will become the Lombardy team's fashion partner. The formal wear of the teams has been growing in recent seasons and the brands that are approaching the world of football - conceiving a club as a brand to collaborate with and not just as a group of players to dress - underline how cross-sectorality is a concrete way to avoid expiring in the usual collabo. A collaboration that once again demonstrates Monza's ambitions both on and off the field.
Never before have the worlds of football and fashion come closer than in recent years, slowly blending together, becoming almost a part of each other. Clubs have managed over time to create a movement that in a few years has gone from the playing fields to the Fashion Weeks, an example is Paris Saint-Germain that together with KOCHÉ has brought its shirts on the most famous catwalks of the fashion world. Other teams have already followed this path this season, with both Inter and Juventus linking their names to two iconic Italian brands such as Moncler and Loro Piana. Monza and Roberto Cavalli try to write another chapter, the umpteenth, for two worlds that are increasingly close and want to contaminate each other.
