The new Women's World Cup 2023 logo
A new identity celebrating, as always, the two host nations and the new tournament formula
October 29th, 2021
FIFA has unveiled the new logo for the Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™, which will be played between nine different cities and for the first time will feature 32 teams. The logo is inspired by the unique locations of Australia and New Zealand with a colour palette based on rainforests, land, mountains, cities and water accompanied by 32 coloured squares representing the participating nations. The motif symbolises not only the coming together of the world's best teams, but also the spirit and values of the two host countries radiating around the world, with football at its heart.
The logo was unveiled yesterday with a live show featuring FIFA's Chief Women's Football Officer Sarai Bareman, Australian striker Kyah Simon and New Zealand striker Hannah Wilkinson. In addition to the new logo, the tournament's soundtrack entitled Unity, created by renowned musician and electronic producer Kelly Lee Owens, was also unveiled, inspired by the same ideals and values that led to the creation of the official slogan: Beyond Greatness™.
