Loro Piana will again be the offical supplier of the 2020 Ryder Cup

The famous fashion house, Loro Piana will be for the third year in a row the official supplier of the 2020 Ryder Cup scheduled from 24 to 26 September 2021 in Whistling Straits, Wisconsin. The Turin-based company will dress the talents of Team Europe who will challenge the American ones with garments of innate elegance and extraordinary performance. The uniforms, created in collaboration with captain Pádraig Harrington, will accompany the athletes and their entourage in all official engagements, on and off the golf course. Innovation and experimentation are once again the key words this year to create a wardrobe with unique savoir faire, dedicated to the world's best players. As always, Loro Piana stood out for its choice of unique materials, from waterproof garments to superfine wool and silk for a sporty, sophisticated and avant-garde look.

For the first time in the history of the Turin-based company, a number of waterproof garments have been designed, useful in bad weather, in fabrics resistant to water and wind. The outerwear is made of the iconic Wind® microfibre processed using the three-layer technique, where the outer layer is Wind®, the central waterproof membrane is in Storm System®, a treatment created in 1994. But not only innovation, the maison has re-proposed models similar to those designed for Juventus, next Saturday the players will wear the brand's typical kummel-coloured knitwear, a characteristic nuance of Loro Piana. While on Friday and Sunday the uniforms will be reminiscent of the European flag. A collection that combines refinement, innovation and comfort and was created to always guarantee high performance.
