The new Over The Pitch x Paris Saint-Germain drop
Inspired by Taegeukgi and launched on Korea's Liberation Day
August 16th, 2021
After opening the first Paris Saint-Germain pop-up store in Seoul in July 2020 and launching the "Summer Blue" collection last June, Over The Pitch is back in the spotlight thanks to a new collaboration with the Parisian club. As always, the Korean collective mixes the aesthetics of the hottest club in the world and local culture, this time choosing Korea Liberation Day (August 15) as the main motif of the collection. The name of the line launched a few hours ago by the brands is "Taegeukgi" as the symbol in the center of the Korean flag.
To commemorate the significance of Korea's independence, the items include artwork inspired by the Taegeukgi flag and the PSG logo. Over The Pitch - with the usual collaboration of H9PITCH STUDIO - has created a game shirt, two t-shirts and gadgets such as the iconic Korean hapjukseon, iPhone covers and Air Pods, a carpet and a lighter, chromatically exploiting the proximity between the colors of the Korean flag and the social colors of Leo Messi's new team.
The collection is available on the Over The Pitch store and in the PSG store in Seoul from 8:15 yesterday, to ideally celebrate the most important day for the Korean people.
