The new Inter 2021-22 away kit by Nike
Once again the Biscione, as in the away version after the Triplete
July 26th, 2021
Inter and Nike Football presented the away shirt for next season, another homage to the Biscione, symbol of the Nerazzurri. A shirt with a simple design, but embellished by the presence of a snake with the Inter colors that winds along the sides of the shirt, with a more visible presence on the right side where there is the Swoosh. The details and the other components of the pattern - the double logos and the side bands - are black, a color that has been at the center of the discussions on the home kit because it is not very visible. The shirt confirms the rumors that have chased each other in recent months, completing itself with a collar and sleeves that alternate a shade of blue different from that seen on the Biscione and black.
The kit is completed with white shorts and white socks and was launched with the usual product made by Inter Media House, one of the Nerazzurri excellences. The sponsors - both Socios.com and Lenovo - are in black, while the shield always shows the new logo of the Italian champions tone-on-tone. In the video there are clear references to the architecture of bridges from all over the world, built in an ever more sinuous way - from those in Shanghai to those in New York - just like the body is a snake.
The most immediate reference is certainly that of 2010-11, the year of the post Triplete. Also in that season Inter had chosen the Biscione, however, creating it in a much more stylized way and making it appear only on one side of the jersey. In the 2021-22 version, however, the symbol is much more defined, smaller in thickness but much longer.
