Atalanta's new 2021-2022 jerseys signed by Joma
Three shirts retracing the history and symbols of the city of Bergamo
July 20th, 2021
Atalanta has officially presented the three new kits with which the team will take to the field next season. The technical sponsor for this year is Joma, who have created three new kits, plus the goalkeepers' kit, which is inextricably linked to the city of Bergamo. There are many differences compared to last year's kit: the first jersey remains classic but has a slightly different design, while the second is inspired by the away jersey produced by Errea in 2009. The third is dedicated to the new stadium, which will be completed next year.
The most relevant novelty is undoubtedly on the first jersey characterised by the classic Nerazzurri stripes and embellished for the first time in history by thin gold vertical lines. The new home shirt also stands out for the particular fabric it is made of: ultra-light yarn-dyed jacquard. Compared to last year, there are fewer stripes, a wise choice that gives a little breathing space to a jersey full of sponsors.
The second jersey is a white away jersey made of diamond jacquard with very thin vertical Nerazzurri stripes that takes inspiration from an old Errea jersey that the Dea team wore in the 2009-2010 season. The logo changes, it's the one proposed in the third jersey of last year, the one of Atalanta running, and the official colours of the club are present in the polo collar, in the sleeve edges and in the lateral sides.
The match collection for the 2021-2022 football season is completed with the third shirt, in hot coral colour. This one features several details in black and blue and is characterised by the embossed insertion of the external profile of the new Tribuna Rinascimento of the Gewiss Stadium, the home of Atalanta and its fans.
