Futura Laboratories and Cinelli launch a unisex cycling gear collection that combines performance and style, street art and bicycle design, New York and Milan. A collaboration that brings worlds that have always been in contact together: on the one hand Futura - aka Leonard Hilton McGurr - an artist who was able, together with Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Kenny Scharf, to revolutionize the way of seeing graffiti, transforming them into pure art; on the other, Antonio Colombo, guide of two historical brands such as Columbus and Cinelli. After purchasing the Cinelli brand, he decides to combine art with bike design, creating the Cinelli Art Program in which Kaws, Keith Haring and Phil Frost will participate.
The limited edition collection is a balanced mix of kinetic creativity and dynamic cyclingwear and consists of ten pieces designed by Futura Laboratories. There are three designs - Spiral, Domestiq and Noseeum - and it is entirely Made in Italy with ecological packaging, in paper and> 95% in 100% recyclable bio-based plastic. The items are the Futura Spiral Cap, the Futura Spiral Tech Tee, the Futura Domestiq Cap, the Futura Domestiq Bib Short, the Bib Short Race Cargo with pocket and hi-visibility details for greater safety on the road, a Paris HP Interface chamois and the Futura Domestiq Jersey.
