Parma Calcio reproduced the shirt from the 1998-99 season
Erreà remains faithful to the design of the 90s for the "Legends" version

Anyone with historical memory knows that Parma at the end of the 90s was an incredible fairy tale. A provincial that becoming queen of Europe is not an undertaking that you see every day and those legends (Cannavaro, Crespo, Veron, Sensini, Buffon, Thuram) wore shirts that matched the epic nature of their successes. Those sweaters today become a product that Parma, thanks to the technical sponsor Erreà, launches on the market in the Christmas project of the Crusader Advent. The jersey chosen as a model is the one produced by Lotto for the 1998-99 season (which ended with the victory of the UEFA Cup and the Italian Cup), with the iconic sponsor "Parmalat" and the unmistakable colors of the team that surprised everyone.
What looks to all intents and purposes a nostalgic remake features the same design as the one worn in the final against Marseille in 1999: yellow-blue horizontal stripes, a faded white line dividing the chromatic bands. In the new version - which could officially debut in the 2021-22 season - the characterizing element are the trophies inserted inside the collar, in addition to the addition of the word "Legends" under the Parma logo. The shirt is delivered and shipped in a special packaging that enhances its historicity. It is also customizable with the name of a player who was part of the extraordinary squad of 1998-99.
