After the 2019 collaboration, Diadora and Danilo Paura, Italian creative and icon of the sartorial streetwear world, are ready to return to the center of attention with a capsule collection that combines the sporting DNA of the brand and the sartorial innovation that offers Paura. In the next FW20 of the Venetian brand there will be items inspired by the world of basketball that perfectly enhance the footprint and sporty style that has been part of Diadora's proposal for years.
The contaminations that make Danilo's sartorial art unique take Fear into a new and trendy dimension. In this second, the main inspiration is the vintage Italian basketball, the one that in the 70s and 80s saw the Diadora brands as protagonists. Danilo Paura reinterprets the uniforms of three of the most relevant teams on the Italian and international scene such as Olimpia Milano, Virtus Roma and Reyer Venezia, creating a line of Made In Italy clothing and sneakers that brings back the design of the past.
Among the items we find a hoodie, a crewneck sweatshirt and a 420gr brushed cotton trousers in gray, perfect for going on the bench, abandoning the cast of the suit but without sacrificing style. All this is completed with a crewneck and a garment dyed tee, Paura's recurring signature, and chino trousers with a relaxing fit. For the players, on the other hand, 3 single-color sets are presented, one for each city, with tone-on-tone graphics that recall a college aesthetic.
As for the sneaker, Diadora and Paura choose to re-propose a classic: the Milano Basket model. Created in 1984 by Diadora ad hoc for the Milanese team, the lifestyle reinterpretation of the model has given the brand great satisfaction and had an excellent impact on the market. The 2020 proposal is a low version with full grain leather upper and leather details with pony hair effect. Naturally it has also been adapted to the top two teams: for Virtus Roma a white sneaker with red details; for Venice, white sneaker with beige details.
