After the rumors of recent days, Patta officially launches his latest creation on the market: Patta x Umbro ’95 Football Jersey in the version dedicated to Ajax of the 1994-95 season. In the midfield of those lancers there was a young Edgar Davids, the same one who today poses for the brand and for the shots of Gyatso Davids. The shirt will be in pre-release on the Patta app from Thursday 22 October and will also be available in the Milan store from Friday 23 October.

It is now well known that one of the sources of inspiration for Patta is football. After reinventing two Napoli jerseys (1988-89 and 1989-90), reworking Inter 1993-94 and four versions of the iconic Ajax away shirts (1989-90 and 1990-91), a post by Patta published yesterday on social networks suggests that another gift is about to arrive for the spearmen of Amsterdam. A photo of Patrick Kluivert appeared on Instagram lifting the 1994-95 Champions League, won in the final against AC Milan.
It was a stellar Ajax, made up of young talents who would explode in the following years and big stars: Van der Saar, Frank and Ronald de Boer, Edgar Davis, Clarence Seedorf, Frankie Rijkaard, Nwankwo Kanu, Marc Overmars, Jari Litmanen and Michael Reiziger, as well as to Blind and Kluivert whose respective sons shine today in Ajax and RB Leipzig.
The shirt made by Umbro (technical sponsor of the Dutch from 1989 to 2000) is a pearl in midnight blue and burgundy shades, a fantastic mix that combines the colors with the prevailing white on the collar and the predominant motif on the front of the jersey. In the center, of course, the renewed crest of the lancers. A kit that has become legendary not only for being worn by a winning team, but also for being one of the best in terms of aesthetics. Patta raises the bar and is ready to blow up the market in Amsterdam and beyond.
