The capsule collection PSG x Thierry Lasry
Two models with the colors of the French club
October 19th, 2020
To celebrate PSG's fiftieth, the Parisian club has teamed up with eyewear brand French Thierry Lasry for a new collection of sunglasses. The partnership between the club and the fashion brand was announced last week with some social media posts by Thierry Lasry profile, showing some videos of Stade De France during the Champions League matches of Paris Saint Germain. The collaboration will be available from October 22.
The line of glasses will consist exclusively of two models, the peculiarity of which is the material with which the two pairs are built. Thierry Lasry used a special material - supplied by the Italian company Mazzucchelli - to make the frame, combined with acetate blocks and handmade in France. The models, eccentric and particular, have impressed the social colors of the Parisian club, that is, red, blue and white. PSG confirms itself with this collaboration once again a sporting reality very connected to the fashion world. Since the Parisians signed a collaboration with Nike to have Jordan garments in the Champions League, the French football items have become fashionable objects, and over the years, PSG's fame as a brand has grown thanks to collaborations with Bape, Diesel, Hugo Boss and Edifice. Now eyewear is adding to the outfit collections.
PSG will make their Champions League debut against Manchester United tomorrow and, a few weeks ago, released the third kit to be used exclusively for international matches.
