Hide&Jack and Mesut Ozil present 'The Cage'

The Italian brand Hide&Jack has created a collection of sneakers for charity together with M10, the personal brand of Mesut Ozil. In fact, the proceeds from the collection - called 'The Cage' - will go to charity to the Italian project TuttiConnessi, a company that deals with providing school material for digital education, currently needed because of the coronavirus. With this collaboration, the creativity and elegance of Made in Italy meet the career of a world-class top player, world champion. The Arsenal footballer has always been at the forefront of charitable care and on several occasions has offered part of his finances for social, charitable and generally welfare causes.

The collaboration consists of a set of three shoes whose design is inspired by the personal biography of Ozil, of Turkish origin but born and raised in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The Essence model is in glossy coconut print leather, with gold detailing along the shoe and with a different paint - in blue and white colors - for each model. Also on the heel is a gold plaque that follows the "Monkey Cage", the field in which Ozil was a footballer while in Germany. Precisely in reference to his personal history, the shoes are inserted into a special packaging: a package with written a phrase extracted from the footballer's autobiography and the M10 logo.
