The Eleganza Football Tournament of Calcetto Eleganza starts again

For the next few months, in Milan, soccer fans will have to revise their agendas. With the patronage of the City of Milan, the collective Calcetto Eleganza organized the Eleganza Football Tournament, a competition in five-a-side football sauce that involves the best Milanese soccer companies, at a time when the whole city reorganizes and starts again after the difficult months of lockdown. The tournament - which will take place in the Lambrate area - will be a fixed fixture in the coming years, divided into two editions such as fashion events: a Fall/Winter gaming period from September to November, and a Spring/Summer from April to June. Like previous editions, the EFT has both a male and a female category.

The "preseason" of the project had begun in December, just before the Italian lockdown, and as fashion industry decided to restart during Milan Fashion Week, the tournament also wanted to start from this period. On September 28th there was the first match at the Cimian Sports Centre in Sportland - a match between Calcetto Eleganza and Burro Studio - then the inauguration continued with a party from Formidable Lambrate. And you will have to get used to the idea of this routine: the Elegance Football Tournament is not just sport. It's a mix of activities and community that brings together in football the true spirit of Milan, with teams representing various Milanese realities - from the classics Teatro La Scala and Triennale Milano to the new age Hostel Bello - and a set of activities that continue off the field. The purely football events, in fact, will be followed in the months DJ sets and yoga classes, or screening of sports documentaries. 

 

'Not for sports but for fashion' is together slogans and leitmotifs of the events of Calcetto Eleganza, and for this too, you will not see trivial jerseys during the EFT. In fact, each team will have original kits that represent their milanese area, so that everything that Milan can offer, from design to culture to fashion, can be merged into the field. For this reason too, the tournament is a way to start again through football: it is never just a matter of sport.
