The new Udinese shirt inspired by the 1984-85 season

No vertical lines replaced the iconic 80s band

The nostalgia element is one of the trends most followed by modern football in search of a still not well defined stylistic identity. Not only the big names ride this wave, but also the high teams of Serie A. An example is Udinese which, with Macron, launched the new home shirt for the 2020-21 season with a vintage aftertaste. The aesthetic reference is the 80s, more precisely the 1984-85 season, when the keys of the italian team belonged to Zico.

A real design revolution for Macron that completely eliminates vertical stripes to make way for a single diagonal band, typical of the 1980s. Via an element that has characterized Udinese for years - even if they were little used last year - and inside a new reason to try to take that step towards streewear that almost everyone is trying to take. On the back of the collar appears the writing "The first bianconeri of Italy".

The shirt was presented in Lignano Sabbiadoro and Grado by the club and the Bolognese technical sponsor. The kit is completed with white shorts and white socks with two horizontal black lines on the top edge or black with white top edge.
