Mitchell & Ness and Bleacher Report bring the style of DJ Khaled, Future and others to the NBA world
February 26th, 2020
Mitchell & Ness and Bleacher Report have teamed up with eight hip-hop artists to create a collection of limited edition shirts inspired by the teams from their hometowns. M&S and B/R have joined forces to bring together three different worlds, which are often related to each other: fashion, basketball and music.
Eight names for eight teams: The Diplomats x New York Knicks, Future x Atlanta Hawks, E-40 x Golden State Warriors, ScHoolboy Q x Los Angeles Lakers, Big Sean x Detroit Pistons, Wale x Washington Wizards, DJ Khaled x Miami Heat and No Limit x New Orleans Pelicans.
The collaboration between franchises, artists and the brands that made all this possible, was not limited to the creation of jersey but went all the way to the creation of clothing such as snapbacks, shorts and sweatshirts. Each shirt - which has a reference to the city on the back - is on sale on the B/R Shop website at a price of 175 dollars.
