Netflix has just released the official trailer for 'Ultras', the first film produced by Indigo and Netflix dedicated to the Naples Ultras culture, which will be released in selected cinemas on 9, 10 and 11 March and will be available on Netflix from 20 March.
This is the first movie by Francesco Lettieri - already director of some Calcutta video clips but above all of all the videos of LIBERATO, the Neapolitan artist who made anonymity his signature, who will take care of the music of the film. Already in the trailer we recognize the latest single from LIBERATO, WE COME FROM NAPLES, in collaboration with Robert Del Naja and Gaika.
The film is written by Lettieri himself together with Peppe Fiore, and features Aniello Arena, Ciro Nacca, Simone Borrelli, Daniele Vicorito, Salvatore Pelliccia and Antonia Truppo.
Set in a real and contemporary Naples, the film tells the life of the ultras from the eyes of Sandro, historical leader of the Apache group of ultras with whom he spent his whole life at the stadium with which he gained respect, admiration and even a DASPO that physically and emotionally pulls him away from the stadium. In the film there are the rituals of friendship and culture of the stadium, the contrast between the generations and their ultras style, there is brotherly love and the difficulty of reconciling a normal life with that of an ultras.
