After some rumors circulated for weeks, now it's official: PSV Eindhoven will conclude the sponsorship contract with Umbro at the end of the season and on July 1, 2020 will pass with PUMA, with which it has signed a five-year deal. The Dutch team, therefore, is the last club to join the German brand family, which can already include many top European teams: AC Milan in Italy, Valencia in Spain, Borussia Dortmund in Germany, Olympique Marseille in France.

Also thanks to this agreement with PUMA the Eindhoven club (the city that in the campaign video featuring Ibrahim Afellay, Ritsu Doan and Cody Gakpo is nicknamed 'The City of Light') will try to relaunch itself after a very disappointing season. As stated by the Commercial Director of the PSV, Frans Janssen:
"PUMA and PSV are both determined to be better day after day, this ambition is the basis of this partnership. Their motto "Forever Faster" is a concept that we recognize and marry. We are truly proud to partner with a global brand that gives us the opportunity to remain unique."
