The Pelicans' rookie was photographed wearing the upcoming spring collection of the French club

Waiting to watch him playing, since he has not yet recovered from the injury that forced him to skip the entire first part of the season, Zion Williamson took on the role of the testimonial. With the team during the away game against Utah Jazz, the New Orleans Pelicans' talent was photographed wearing an unprecedented Paris Saint-Germain suit in the locker rooms' tunnel. The pic quickly became viral, given that it would be an anticipation of an item present in the next Jordan x PSG spring collection, a dark tracksuit with the colors of the Parisian club in pendant with the pants.
Williamson's show is not an involuntary and unaware spoiler, but part of the strategy developed by the American brand - he's one of the young ambassadors on which Jordan has decided to focus more together with Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum and Rui Hachimura - to further strengthen the appeal of the French club more on the American market, after being considered one of the coolest teams on the European scene. Moreover, it's not the first time that the last pick number 1 at the draft wears something of Paris Saint-Germain, after the cameo with a pair of PSG Air Jordan 6, last August.

In addition to having signed many prestigious collabo (with BAPE and Edifice above all) not only related to the fashion scene, which have in fact changed the PSG status from a simple football club to a real lifestyle brand, the Parisians announced the agreement with Jordan at the end of summer 2018 which initially provided for the launch of the jerseys to be worn during the Champions League campaign and a related collection, using non-traditional colors such as white, black and orange. The effect of this partnership has guaranteed the conquest of a huge range of potential new fans, especially outside national and sports borders, making the PSG become, despite the poor international palmares, the club capable of attracting world-famous artists and characters, from Travis Scott to Naomi Campbell up to Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
