NBA Star Serge Ibaka Named Nobis Global Ambassador

The outerwear brand Nobis, founded in Canada in 2007, has appointed Serge Ibaka as its Global Ambassador. The Toronto Raptors NBA champion - who feels at home on the catwalks, and for this reason is nicknamed 'The Gucci Man' by his former teammates at OKC - will be the face of the Canadian brand's next campaigns over the next year. As part of the agreement, Ibaka will work with Nobis on a new collection, which  will be unveiled in 2020.

Ibaka, born in Congo to parents who were both basketball players, has been a Raptors player since 2017, after playing with Oklahoma City Thunder and Orlando Magic. Off the court, he became known for his style and participation in the last Paris Fashion Week, as well as his social engagement (as demonstrated by his foundation  whose projects focus on health and education for orphans in Congo ).
