Six years later the foundation of Roc Nation Sports, the 'spin-off' of the agency founded in 2008 by Jay-Z and based mainly on the management of athletes and sportsmen, and consequently of their projects and their image. In this period the team has expanded a lot, up to embrace a commercial partner the rise like PUMA reinforcing the presence of athletes from five different sports (from baseball to boxe, from football to basketball and soccer) betting on futuristic market like that of eSports. In addition to already famous players (such as players Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, but also NBA star Kyrie Irving), Roc Nation Sports has recently decided to push on young talents, the last of which, Reece James, has not yet turned 20 and is already one of Chelsea's best prospects and for which the agency will take care of marketing, public relations, digital media and commercial partnerships.

The decision to focus on the English right-back, for many people still semi-unknown, says a lot about the strategy of Roc Nation: besides being the first Brit to be on the list of athletes (waiting for James Maddison, who, meanwhile, he only met Jay-Z for a photo), he's one of the most talented players in the new Frank Lampard's Chelsea, a team that is making itself talking about and that we will hear about him for a long time, he scored in his Champions League debut against Ajax and a few days later he ousted a column like Cesar Azpilicueta from the starting lineup. Reece James, who signed with his sister Lauren (Manchester United footballer) and father Nigel, joins another youngster like Samuel Chukwueze, the Nigerian winger playing (not for long) at Villarreal. But the feeling is that the Roc Nation Sports project will continue to move forward, and that new prospects will arrive soon.
