Beautiful Fonts 2019/20

Typography is living a golden age in football: the customized font on the football shirts have gone from nerdy detail snubbed by brands and designers to one of the distinctive elements of a kit. It's not just an aesthetic thing though, the font is a faint signal of aesthetic rebellion to the visual homologation imposed in the various European championships: the Premier, the Liga, the Bundesliga and the Ligue 1 all have a fixed font, so the clubs can show off their own fonts exclusively in European competitions.

In the gallery I have collected the most beautiful fonts of the 2019-20 season, these are the most artistic and audacious choices: from the font-camo of Juventus, the zig-zag ones of Roma and Torino to the bold of Manchester United.
