After having publicly presented the new home and away jerseys for the 2019/2020 season the last 1st of July, PUMA has introduced its first third kit for Manchester City new season at a special event in Shanghai, before the arrival of the team for the Asian tournée. The new Citizens' third shirt has an unexpected and vibrant look, coloured and destined to divide the public opinion. After the singular choose for the away jersey - inspired from a night club in Manchester -, the German brand designs a third kit on two tones, a mix between the fluorescent green present on the top and peach-orange on the bottom, with black details, shorts of the same colour of the bottom part of the jersey and green socks in contraposition.

The meaning of this jersey is what struck more and gives value to the jersey: with the colours and the pattern chosen - which winks to the tie-dye trend, as his best this summer - PUMA aims to emphasise the offensiveness and the dynamism of the football offered by the Citizens, tactic characteristics entered powerfully to be part of the City's philosophy since the arrival of Pep Guardiola, who made Manchester's club one of the most beautiful team to watch.

The Catalan manager said he's happy of this idea of the mark, pointing out how football is a source of inspiration and entertainment for millions of fans all around the world. "Our aim is to play attacking and entertaining football and I’m delighted that the PUMA design team has used this as inspiration for our new Third kit" said the former Barcelona and Bayern Munchen's manager, who can't wait to enjoy the new jersey on the pitch. He will be satisfied soon: Manchester City will debut with their new jerseys during the next weeks, with games against West Ham, Kitchee and Yokohama FM.
