Paris Saint-Germain and Nike over the weekend announced the extension of the partnership until 2032 for a total of 80 million per year, thus signing the richest and longest-standing deal in history for the Paris club. The first move of the agreement, which in fact triples the 25 million that the PSG received from the previous contract, was the launch of the Home kit that Neymar, Mbappé, Cavani and Verratti will wear in national competitions during the 2019/2020 season.
Waiting for the new jersey in collaboration with Jordan brand for the next Champions League, the jersey presented with a video published on social channels immediately showed some news and other returns to the past, such as the inclusion of the "Hechter" band, composed of three strips white-red-white verticals running from the V-neck to the bottom of the shirt.
It is a tribute to the 30 years of history between PSG and Nike and to the ability to maintain continuity in terms of innovation while remaining faithful to the history of the club, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary just next season.
The swoosh stands out on the inside of the shirt, as well as in the entirely blue shorts and socks. The most fashionable jersey of European football will have another big news compared to the previous seasons, the sponsor Fly Emirates on the chest will be replaced with All-Accor Live Limitless, a French company leader in the hotel market.
The official launch will take place with an event in 4 cities around the world: Paris, Sao Paulo, New York and Shanghai. A treasure hunt with social clues thanks to which it will be possible to win an exclusive model of the jersey ready to exceed the sales records of last season, during which the jerseys sold exceeded 1 million.
