AS Roma unveils stunning 2019-20 font

On Thursday, AS Roma presented the new home kit for the 2019/20 season: it is a fairly classic Giallorossi jersey, with the remarkable detail of the lightning-like pattern on the collar and on the edge of the sleeves.
The lightning pattern is also the main inspiration behind the new font - sharp and edgy - that Nike has designed for the Roman club. The font is not easy to read, but it certainly has an original shape that blends very well with the rest of the mesh.

“Roman mythology and its influence on Roman identity played a huge part in the concept. This year, Jupiter was our focus, and the lightning bolt was an obvious and powerful symbol to use,” explains Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director
