There are just 8 points between Inter (third in the standings) and Torino (ninth).

Making some counts, three teams between - Milan, Inter Milan, Roma, Lazio, Atalanta, Torino and Sampdoria - will not gain any European spots for the next Champions League or  Europa League.
The Milanese clubs are not living their best moment, Inter is still held hostage by the Icardi case, and against Lazio it struggled to pull in the goal without even Martinez. AC Milan has been a bit off compared to the January-February ride, but I think Gattuso can handle it. Lazio and Atalanta are doing well and they are the teams that express the most brilliant game. Roma is now deep down in the psychodrama hole and is settling into a depressed game like the Giallorossi environment, and honestly it would already be a nice goal coming to the Europa League for how things turned out. The two outsiders of the group are Torino and Samp: Mazzarri's team is tough but does not seem to have a driver by the end of the season, while Samp di Quagliarella and Giampaolo could be the big surprise at the end of the season.
