5 GIFs from the weekend - Lautoro and other Argentinians
'El Toro' among the best players of the Milan derby, but was a great weekend for Messi and Di Maria too
March 18th, 2019
He was in the air for a few weeks and punctually arrived the first Serie A defeat for Juventus, in Genoa thanks to Sturaro (!!!) and Pandev. But the bianconeri's k.o. only makes sense for the statistics, given that at the top of the league the Allegri boys remain firmly with +15 on Napoli. But the spotlights this weekend were all for the Milan derby, a very entertaining match won a bit surprisingly by Inter 3-2. While for Lazio and Sampdoria was a good weekend, for Ranieri's AS Roma was the opposite.
A quick look out of the Italian borders: Zidane's second debut as Real Madrid coach (and Isco's goal, what a coincidence!), the head-to-head between Bayern and Borussia Dortmund, the thousand emotions of the FA Cup quarter-finals (what a comebacks for Manchester City and Brighton!), another away defeat for Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea, but above all Leo Messi, who received the standing ovation of the Benito Villamarin after another hat-trick (and what a hat trick, the 51st in his career) against Betis. La Liga, for Barça which has 10 points ahead, is almost win.
# Aaah how Swansea plays
We are not at the Laudrup's Swansealona levels, but in the FA Cup the Welsh team have seriously worried Man. City before collapsing 3-2: watch the 1-0 goal to believe.
# Everything ok, Guida?
The derby referee slipped just when Castillejo was hitting Politano, but he still correctly concede the penalty. We hope his knees didn't crash.
# Goran the immortal
Taking over Sanabria in the second half, was Pandev who puts the seal on Genoa's win over Juventus, finalizing a perfect counter-attack.
# Messi = GOAT
Ten goals against Sevillian teams in the current season, this time it's Betis who suffered three, including a sensational lob.
# Free-kicks clash: Bailey vs Di Maria
Wonderful but useless, the goal of the Jamaican of Bayer Leverkusen in the home defeat against Werder.
From a left-handed from another: the Argentine, on the other hand, was fundamental in the PSG win in the match against Marseille, which ended 3-1.
