The new Jurgen Klopp mural, in Liverpool
In the Baltic Triangle, the heart of the English city
December 10th, 2018
It's not the first time that a mural has been dedicated to a manager of the English Premier league: three years ago it was Claudio Ranieri, definitively entered in the hearts of the Leicester fans and portrayed by a local artist after winning the historic title with the Foxes. Now it's the moment of Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool coach who manage to occupy the top spot of the Premier League last Saturday. In his honor, this weekend, a mural 'appeared' in the city center.
The mural was made by Akse P19, an English graffiti artist already famous for Stephen Hawking, David Bowie and Muhammad Ali portraits. This time the main protagonist was Klopp, the Reds' manager since 2015. The set is the Baltic Triangle, really close to the Royal Albert Dock and Tate Liverpool, precisely at the corner between Jordan Street and Jamaica Street. Just hope that no one Everton fans will not ruin it.
