C.P. Company x Nowhere F.C.
Exclusively for HYPEFEST in Brooklyn, NYC
October 5th, 2018
If we counted how many times the word streetwear was used in the last 15 years, we would lose count.
But if there is a brand that can use this word more than others, that brand is C.P. Company. Founded in 1978 by Massimo Osti (The Godfather of urban streetwear), absolute reference figure in the contemporary fashion scene, C.P. Company has made garment dyeing, also this process devised by Osti and a key moment in the development of streetwear, a staple of its history and its production. Garment dyeing is a specific process in which a garment is dyed at the end of the production process, after having already been packaged; contrary to what happens with traditional methods, that start with pre-dyed fabrics.
Thanks to garment dyeing, signature technique of the brand, C.P. Company will take part in the first edition of HYPEFEST, in Brooklyn, October 6 and 7, conceived by HYPEBEAST, that will be the first real experimental platform that will bring together the best of art, creativity and fashion in New York. On the occasion of this two days the brand founded by Osti has collaborated with NOWHERE F.C., the American collective born in Manhattan that over the years has reinterpreted the idea of football shirts, an issue that we are particularly keen on. The movement is built on the multicultural diversity of NYC and has transformed the idea of football thanks to an independent and artistic point of view. The football culture that unites the two realities, in different ways, was the glue for this super successful collaboration.
