Nigeria's Nike collection has been nominated for a design award

Sold out in just a few minutes, the most beautiful t-shirt of the World and ambassadors like Skepta: the For Najia collection designed by Nike for the Nigerian National team was the symbol and crossover between streetwear and football culture. Despite the meager sports results of the Super Eagles at the Russian World Cup, the collection has created a hype never seen around a national team shirt, attracting streetwear fans from all over the world.
From August onwards, the Nigerian hype has waned, but yesterday it was announced by the Design Museum in London that the collection was nominated for the Beazley Designs of the Year award, one of the most prestigious awards in the world of design. The category in which the collection was named is obviously that of fashion, but we will have to wait until November 15th to know the winner.
