The presentations of the kits for the next season are bringing us in every place of the world and the latest one made by Nike Football brings straightly to Buenos Aires, precisely to the Estadio Alberto José Armando, better known as La Bombonera. In fact, the Swoosh unveiled Boca Juniors new home and away kits, and we all know how the club founded by Genoese migrants is so beloved in Italy.
The 2018/19 home jerseys respect the Xeneizes tradition in every way, with a kit that is known and appreciated all around the world. The blue chest is cut by the iconic yellow horizontal stripe, with the ‘Qatar Airways’ jersey sponsor in the middle. The away shirt is way more interesting, inspired by the relentless tifo at La Bombonera. In fact, on the white background, there’s a yellow and blue horizontal stripe, with a graphic inspired by a seismometer. The zig-zag pattern remembers the waves of a Richter scale, used to measure the intensity of earthquakes. And there’s no doubt that the magnitude of the Azul y Oro passion is one of the most intense on the planet.
