Lazio unveiled 2018-19 Flag kit
Bold and iconic design for the home kit of the Biancoazzurri
July 12th, 2018
SS Lazio and Macron just launched the brand-new 2018-2019 home uniform, which has a stunning revival vibe. The "flag" shirt was a memory from the '80s, worn for the first time in the season 1982-83 and for the second time in 1986-87, when Fiorini saved the team from the relegation in Serie C. The stylized eagle on the front is a masterpiece of design, it divides the shirt into two parts - one blue, one white - and it embraces the whole player with his wings. It is not the first time that Macron revamped the old flag shirt: in 2014-15 the Italian kit manufactured produced an almost identical jersey for the second leg of Serie A.
The 2018-19 design is very faithful to the previous ones: the stylized eagle on the chest embraces the whole shirt and divides it into two parts, one white and the other blue. The original design of the eagle and its rather bold shape was made by the former president of Lazio Gian Chiaron Casoni in 1982. Two details make this shirt one of the candidates to be one of the most beautiful of the next season: the blue-collar and the bold-shaped font of the numbers. Sky blue shorts and white socks, the latter with a horizontal white stripe and the writing 'SS Lazio 1900' on the calf, complete the Lazio 18-19 home kit.
The uniform away will also be officially presented tonight.
