In the last years, all the situations related to footballers and their deals for the furniture of the football boots have become more and more relevant. And one of the most intriguing ones has been Romelu Lukaku’s, striker for Manchester United and Belgium national team. Alongside with Paulo Dybala’s missing deal - that has now become an adidas player - the Congolese-born striker was the other massive name of the football boot ‘free agency’ and, in fact, even his manager José Mourinho highlighted his need to sign a deal with a big brand. Well, the decision has now come, as Lukaku has announced the new deal with PUMA Football.
Hours before Belgium’s first game in the World Cup - Monday at 5 PM against Panama - the Red Devils’ striker has confirmed a long-term partnership with the German brand. PUMA, on the other hand, signs a young and talented footballer that, other than providing high-level performances on the pitch - or at least that’s Man United and Belgium’s hope - it will bring PUMA a modern and catchy athlete, similar than the other testimonial of the German brand, Antoine Griezmann. Lukaku will play the World Cup with one of the most appreciated boots of the last months, the PUMA One.
