Jerome Boateng teases new Off-White x Nike Football jersey on IG
Bayern Munich defender unveiled a new white football jersey from the awaited World Cup collabo
May 25th, 2018
Every day we are closer and closer to the World Cup kickoff and all brands are presenting the respective collections for Russia 2018 but we’re still missing which may be the most important of all. Virgil Abloh and Nike still have to officially unveil the World Cup collabo between Off-White and the Swoosh, even if we already saw many items of the capsule. The last one was yesterday when Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng posted a pic while wearing a jersey from the collection.
Unlike the one saw during the event when Nike presented the new Mercurial Vapor, this jersey from the Off-White x Nike Football collaboration is white. On the chest, there are Nike’s Swoosh with the iconic “LOGO” writing, and the crest inspired by the symbol of the Dutch national team, with the “Out-fit and sporting good. Suppliers for another academy” writing beneath it. The shirt is completed by “Off-White” jersey sponsor and will pair with the chess-patterned one that we already saw in the past.
Actually, thanks to Instagram we also discovered another white shirt, but this time with orange details. The Boylan Central Catholic High School, Virgil Abloh’s alma mater, has published some pics about the shirts that Louis Vuitton artistic director has given the school. And while the boys wore the chess-patterned one, the girls were given with the white version, completed by orange writings and branding. The hype the surrounds the Off-White x Nike Football collabo is still rising.
