It’s been a few weeks since the official reveal of the Off-White x Nike Mercurial Vapor but the hype hasn’t faded just yet. The shoe, worn by Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé is part of the official collabo between Virgil Abloh and Nike Football for the upcoming World Cup. But it’s not over yet. Through his social channels, in fact, the new art director of Louis Vuitton showed two exclusive pairs of Off-White x Nike Mercurial Touch gloves.
These goalkeeper gloves are the first item of this kind of the collabo between the Swoosh and Virgil Abloh, that, of course, touched them with his iconic style. On the external part, in fact, there are two black Swooshes with the “LOGO” writing, while the internal part is embellished with the Off-White symbol. But it’s not over, as the gloves, sent to West Ham’s Joe Hart and Everton’s goalie Jordan Pickford, have been further customized. Both featured the “HART” and “PICKFORD” names on the finger, while an arrow points to the print on the little finger. The gloves feature an unseen colorway that may be part of the World Cup collection.
