Nike font for Brazil

A few days ago, we talked about the problems with the font chosen by adidas for the 2018 World Cup, that… Well, it can’t be read. We can’t say the same for the Nike’s one, that after presenting the beautiful font used for the French and English national teams, also unveiled the one for Brazil, one of the most likely team to win the World Cup. And just as everything else in the Seleção, also the font used for names and numbers is very peculiar.

On the shirts made by Nike Football, in fact, there will be numbers and letters specifically created to reflect Brazil vibrating and energetic lifestyle, a trait that has always shared with its national team. For the yellow home kit, the font will be green, with a zig-zag pattern inside and a yellow stripe to divide the numbers in half. For the blue away kit, on the other hand, the font will be yellow and will refer to the star-inspired design of the shirt. Both the colorations, other than the stripes that cut them in half, shares the symbol of the Brazilian federation on the lower part of the numbers.
