Here's Real Madrid "Icon Jersey"

We already had the chance to discuss adidas Football’s recent “Nostalgia Operation”, that in the last months has brought several designs and styles from the Eighties and the Nineties back, especially on many football shirts. We saw it with many releases for the 2018 World Cup, which jerseys mixed the Three Stripes’ retro style with more modern and street style-oriented cuts. These two philosophies perfectly blend in the new Real Madrid “Icon Jersey”, presented today by adidas Football.

Following the path that is reducing the gap between the high-performance sports apparel and the daily life, street style-oriented one, adidas Football realized this replica version of the Merengues’ shirt, showed today on Karim Benzema. The classic white jersey has a horizontal blue stripe on the chest, where there’s the “Fly Emirates” jersey sponsor. The adidas logo is also blue, just like those thin stripes on the necklace and the sleeves. Finally, Real Madrid crest completes this Galacticos’ replica shirt, that for now will be only available at the Real Madrid Store at Santiago Bernabeu.
