Within a few hours, the news that nine footballers from Saudi Arabia will play in LaLiga for the next six months has been made official. But what’s behind this particular transfer market operation? A multi-year deal that LaLiga signed last October with General Sports Authority (GSA) and Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF): thanks to this bilateral agreement, it will be given the opportunity to many players in the National team to seek glory in Europe to prepare for the 2018 World Cup (Saudi Arabia in the Group A with Uruguay, Russia, and Egypt). And in the meantime, the ambitious Spanish football association will be able to expand its brand in the Eastern markets, where it already has a massive popularity.

Benefiting from this proper collaboration project, right now, are the Primera Division team (Villarreal, Levante and Leganés) and the Segunda ones (Rayo Vallecano, Sporting Gijon, Valladolid, and Numancia) that in these months set a scouting program to select the players to test in their teams, and they won’t spent a dime to cover the loans. Those players are Nooh Al Mousa, Salem Al-Dawsari, Fahad Al-Muwallad, Abdullah Alhamddan, Yahya Al Shehri, Abdulmajeed Al Sulaiheem, Ali Al Namer, Marwan Othman, Jaber Issa.
