Netflix will produce a docu-series about Boca Juniors

2018 will be the year of football documentaries. After Juventus and Manchester City, Boca Juniors has now announced a new partnership with Netflix for the production of a docuseries. The show will be divided into four parts and it should be available for the autumn of 2018.

The series is to highlight the training sessions of the Buenos Aires-based outfit ahead of their new season, focusing, on a micro level, on the relationships between the players and the coaching staff, as well as the lives of Boca Junior players and their relatives, and providing a behind-the-scenes look into the club dressing room. Last season Boca Juniors won the Superliga Argentina. They currently top the league, remaining unbeaten after their first eight games. Early November they defeated arch-rivals River Plate in the Superclásico.
