Charlotte Hornets unveiled their Jordan-branded uniforms
The North Carolina franchise will be the only one in the NBA to have the Jumpman logo on its jersey
August 1st, 2017
In the last weeks, we had the chance to talk about the presentation of the new NBA uniforms branded by Nike. And a few days ago, we showed you all the jerseys unveiled so far, and some were truly beautiful. And yesterday we had a new and interesting one, as the Charlotte Hornets presented their Association and Icon uniforms with a suggestive video on social networks.
The new is interesting because, as known for a few months, the North Carolina franchise will be the only one in the league to embroider the Jumpman logo on their jerseys, while the rest of the teams will have Nike’s regular Swoosh. That's because of Michael Jordan, owner with alternate fortunes of the team and icon on which the Jordan brand was created, was able to obtain Nike’s permission to put his logo on his players’ uniforms. Just like, what MJ asks, MJ has.
It will be a revolution into the revolution, as it will be the first year with Nike and Jordan brand at the same time. What's more, the uniforms are really beautiful, with and alternation of white, azure, and blue, used with different tones for the Association and Icon versions. In the next months, we will see the versions dedicated to the players and the community of Charlotte and it will be another chance to admire His Airness embroidered on Charlotte Hornets’ shirts.
