Let's say it, Space Jam is one of the movies that influenced the most the childhood of the children born around the Nineties - but also before and after - one of those VHS to be watched again and again, until knowing every scene by memory. One, in particular, could've seemed crafted for the movie, while in fact, it was about a truthful detail of His Airness' career. We're talking about his North Carolina shorts.
In the famous sequence, in fact, MJ asks Duffy Duck and Bugs Bunny to pick up a pair of Air Jordan 9s and his old shorts from the college, which he really used to wear under the Bulls' ones during his years in the NBA. Now those very shorts will be sold again, alongside with the Jordan x Converse "The 2 That Started It All" Pack. Of course, the shorts color is Carolina Blue, and they have the UNC logo on the left leg and Jordan's Jumpman on the right one.
