SHUKYU x City Boys FC "Cracks of our Generation"
The two Japanese realities teamed up again for a series of tees inspired by legends of the past
June 27th, 2017
More than once before, we had the chance to talk about SHUKYU, a Japanese magazine founded by Takashi Ogami that promises itself to tell and spread the football culture from and into the Rising Sun Country. And in the past, we already talked about the collaboration between SHUKYU and City Boys FC, that a couple of months ago worked together for a series of tees inspired by the great legends of the past. Now, the two Japanese realities teamed up another time.
The SHUKYU x City Boys FC "Cracks of our Generation” collection is a series of four tees inspired by champions of the past, that somehow influenced Takashi and City Boys’ designer Keisuke Yamada’s youth. The issue is also inspired by “Youth”, the SHUKYU’s latest editorial. The four tees are dedicated to as many champions from the past - but not so back in time - and their clubs, like Real Madrid’s Raúl, Barcelona’s Ronaldinho, Brazil’s Ronaldo and Holland’s Edgar Davids. All the players are represented as icons, with iconic poses that recall is a sight what they did on the pitch.
You can buy all four tees - and also the previous ones - on City Boys and SHUKYU Magazine’s websites.
