In the mid-Nineties in the Italian football passed a big tall man, with red hair and a nice pair of mustaches. He arrived in Padova after playing a wonderful World Cup in ’94, becoming the first American to play in Serie A. Alexi Lalas is a mythological figure in the MLS, as he has played since its first season in 1996, then he changed several clubs, becoming General Manager for the Los Angeles Galaxy and then commentator for the television. Everything while being a professional rock musician.
For all these reasons, Japanese creative brand City Boys FC has decided to homage him with the “Red Menace” collection, a unique occasion for all American fans (and MLS’ in general) to flash back into the past through one of American football’s most iconic players. The collection includes a series of shirts and a particular t-shirt with the graphic of the red-haired rock musician playing under a hot sun. You can see everything on City Boys FC’s website, but to put your hands on the “Red Menace” collection you must wait until June the 3rd.
