Manchester United new away kit
adidas wanted to celebrate Red Devils' past with an iconic design
May 10th, 2017
Manchester United's season is far from over, as Mourinho's team can still reach the qualification to the next Champions League, both by reaching the top-4 in the Premier League and reaching - and winning - the Europe League final, scheduled for May 24 in Stockholm.
In Carrington, though, they're already thinking about the season to come, as the new away kit for the 2017/18 season has just been presented. The kit, of course realized by adidas, inspires itself to the away kits used between the '90 and the '92, when amazing legends like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and David Beckham were on the pitch. The jersey's pattern, in fact, is totally similar than the Nineties' one, with the main difference to be black, with gray and white shades, instead of azure. Bolded black edges will garnish the sleeves and the shoulders, while adidas' iconic Three Stripes will be on the sides of the new Red Devils' shirt.
Manchester United's new away kit is already available in adidas' online shops; maybe we will see United's players wearing those the next year, with the Champions League theme as a soundtrack.
